Lately I have been reading this book. Its called the Hostage at the Table, recommended to me by a colleague at work. Its a bit creepy, but keeping an open mind it does provide some good insight on how to focus. I am a change manager after all and work with topics of emotional connection. Anyway, this book has some good stuff on keeping the eyes on the prize. With the darkest time of the year approaching (I mean physically, not mentally) and the trip to Barcelona behind me, I need some light at the end of the tunnel – a trip to look forward to. Yes! Our annual tour of Asia is approaching and we are all set with arrangement. Bangkok – Hua Hin and Singapore – here we come!So two months to go before the Winecurious is testing the wine-temperature in Asia again. Last year we found some pretty cool stuff: the wine bar in Bangkok with 48 different wines by the glass; Havana Social, the prohibition era Cuban bar, and the newly opened National Gallery in Singapore with awesome cocktails and the perfect view to the Marina Bay Sands. We had some thoughts about going back to Ho Chi Mihn City, but time just isn’t enough this time. We don’t want to rush from place to place. What is new this year, please tip us off and we will try to visit and write about it!
If I go back to Barcelona for just a bit, here are some of my best pics from the week. The weather was not as warm as I hoped for, but we had a blast. I am especially happy about reuniting with some friends from the wine business. We only see once a year, but it is always such a heartwarming event. We also walked around a lot, thus all the pictures of the city. Have a great week you all!
