Taste of Göteborg at Woodstockholm

I just love these pictures from last Fridays dinner at Woodstockholm. It was one of these epic nights: warm weather outside, even after sundown (doesn’t happen that often in Sweden) and full party on at the restaurant. I seldom see restaurant staff having such a good time at work. We had a good time too. The food was tasty as well a picturesque, and for once I felt it was ok to take shots of people (they were so obviously posing). Woodstockholm is one of my favorite wine-hangouts in the city. Cheap and Chik Café Nizza

The topic is a bit misleading – eating out in Stockholm is never cheap. Chik on the other hand… anyway, relatively speaking, Café Nizza is a very price worthy dining experience in Stockholm. You get a cozy bistro experience with four courses plus amouse bouche and petit fours for 500kr. The food is not innovative but very well prepared and tasty, and the wine list is awesome. Late Night Drink at la Maison, Helsinki

Last week when in Helsinki, I found a truly great little place for wine. It is not a new spot, so I did not write about it in my newbies post, but having ignored my friends recommendation far too long, this was my first visit to restaurant Maison. We popped in for a late night glass of wine right after dinner at our favorite restaurant, Chef & Sommelier. Little did I know before what a great wine selection I was about to discover.
