Wineweek 169: Travel the World

We have a saying in Swedish – bort är bra, men hem är bäst. It means that traveling is great, but coming home is even better; kind of a Swedish version of – there is no place like home. There is a reason people settle down where the settle, and often it is the place we want to be. This is how I have felt when we arrived home about a week ago. Stockholm is where I want to live, even if it is freezing cold ten months of the year. However, before I get back to what is happening in the Nordics, I thought I would still post a few photos from our trip, and share some recommendations. I promise these are the last ones… for now. A Closer Look at Angkor Wat

The blog has been quite temple-rich recently. I have been out on photo tours, and temples just happen to be picturesque. Food and wine is as well, but since I have waited to visit Angkor Wat for so long, I thought it should have its own post, even on a wine-blog. Finally I have had a chance to edit some photos, that are nice to share, as well as I thought of sharing a few tips for those who are planning to visit. Wineweek 165: Merry Christmas from Angkor Wat

Its Christmas eve and the sun is setting in Bangkok. We are not in Cambodia anymore, but that is what I will mostly write about, thus the title. One of the highlights of our trip is just behind us and I am eager to share some stories with you..and pictures. mainly pictures actually. Angkor Wat is the only tourist trap that is and has been on my bucket list for a long time. I am a sucker for temples, they are so picturesque.
